Did we contact you?
If you received a call, letter, or email from Lifetime Financial, here’s what it means, how to confirm it was really us, and what happens next.
What our call or letter means
Our research team has found money or property held by a state that may belong to you or to a member of your family. It might be a forgotten account, an insurance benefit, or funds left in a relative’s estate.
The person we contact isn’t always the final claimant. When the owner has passed away, the right path depends on the family relationships, the estate, and the documents available. Part of our job is working that out with you.
How we found you
Our investigators use public records, public data searches, and online sources to find account owners, heirs, and beneficiaries, and sometimes their relatives or associates. We always reach out with respect and care.
A call from us is good news
We are not a collection agency. We never contact people about money they owe. A call from us means someone may owe money to you.
Five ways to verify us
It’s smart to be careful with unexpected calls about money. Check any of these before you share anything.
What happens next
A conversation, not a sales pitch
We explain what we found, who is holding it, and why we believe it may belong to you or your family.
You decide
Take the time you need, ask anything, and check us out. You move forward only when you feel comfortable.
Agreement and notary
If you choose to work with us, you review and sign our agreement, and a notary from our network meets you to complete the documents.
We file and keep you updated
We submit the claim to the state, handle follow-up requests, and keep you informed until it’s resolved.
What we may ask you for
Only what the state requires for your claim, typically:
- Your signature on the agreement and claim forms
- Supporting documents that show you’re entitled to the property
- For a relative’s property, additional documents about the estate or family relationship
We’ll tell you exactly what’s needed for your claim.
